WVU Extension classes slated for March
March 1, 2013
(The Inter-Mountain) There will be a series of educational classes offered in March exploring methods in growing and marketing garden and other horticulture crops. The classes will take place at 7 p.m. March 5, 12, 19 and 26 in the conference room of the Upshur County Extension Office.
The March 5 meeting will be taught by Terry Hudson, a Kanawha County grower who has developed some low-cost methods to extend his growing season. In particular, he has developed a low-cost construction method for high tunnels. If you are interested in extending your growing season in the early spring and late fall, this would be a good session to attend.
