(State Journal) Morgantown-area foodies have two opportunities to buy farm-fresh goods at the West Virginia University Extension Service Small Farm Conference that begins Feb. 28 in Morgantown.

Back by popular demand is the annual Winter Blues Farmers Market, sponsored by the West Virginia Farmers Market Association. The market is open to the public from 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 at Waterfront Place. Nearly 50 vendors will sell everything from local meats and vegetables to breads. Admission to the market is free.
