Extension to host Venison 101 classes across the state
As deer season approaches, hopeful hunters prepare their freezer’s space for packaged meats. West Virginia University Extension Service experts can help teach hunters the how-to’s of safely handling venison during a Venison 101 class.
WVU Extension’s Families and Health agents across the state are receiving training in proper processing of venison, from start to finish. Check with your local WVU Extension office to see if a class will be offered in your county.
